Jo MacDonald
Managing Director
Jo is the heart of JMR, as a natural communicator and genuine people person her passion for connecting with clients and candidates and building long term relationships is apparent in every interaction. Jo’s vast people network genuinely enjoy working with her as much as she enjoys working with them. Jo is the ultimate professional and her honest, straightforward approach is welcomed.
In 1999 Jo found her forte in recruitment, working within specialist vertical markets including Contact Centre, Business Process Outsourcing and Customer Relationship Management, Online, IT, Marketing and Finance across the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia and the US.
From her successful debut with UK market leader Hays, Jo’s career progression soon took her overseas to Australia in 2004 where she managed a team of 9 consultants delivering high volume recruitment solutions predominantly for the financial service and telecommunication markets. Choosing to specialise further, Jo then dedicated her experience in the recruiting of executive management professionals within the front/back office, CRM, and IT sales space across the APAC region for Curran & Associates.
In 2009 Jo returned to the UK to launch her own business, utilising her experience of executive management and professional recruiting doing senior search assignments globally, while continuing to add value where possible through her partnership with the People Effect team back in Australia.
Jo’s key strengths include a high EQ, relationship management, high integrity, diligent and thorough. Specialities include contract negotiation, business development, account management, consulting, designing, and executing recruitment strategies, negotiation, international search.
With her finger constantly on the industry pulse, and rarely being spotted without her headset on, Jo’s commitment and success rate is second to none.

Lindsey Shepherd
Associate Director
‘Above and beyond’ is a phrase often associated with Lindsey. Clients value her dedication, high levels of integrity and professionalism, coupled with open, honest communication and a personable approach.
After completing a languages degree (yes elle parle français!), Lindsey soon began her career in recruitment with Hays. Whilst managing their regional sales teams, Lindsey gained a reputation as a highly regarded people’s leader, known for her listening skills. Her staff tenure was one of the highest in Hays with all team members progressing within the business into management positions. After 13 phenomenally successful years, Lindsey took a break from recruitment and became a partner in an audio engineering business, taking on an Operations, HR and Accountancy role. A few years later, keen to get back into recruitment, Lindsey joined JMR as Associate Director.
Predominantly working with UK based clients and organisations with growing overseas presence in the US and Asia, Lindsey has recruited all sorts of executive roles from senior management up to heads of, as well as working alongside clients to establish their own in-country acquisition teams.
A loyal, diligent, hardworking, and commercial business entrepreneur who builds long term profitable and sustainable relationships through a proven track record of delivery and success. Key strengths include needs analysis, matching solutions to requirements, creative problem solving, utilising networks, delivery over and above business KPI’s, P&L management, account management, acquisition and growth of new operations.
Lindsey’s portfolio and network are diverse, from L&D, training, and sales through to finance and financial services in sectors such as business intelligence, data analytics and ratings agencies – there is nothing she can’t do.

Susan Shehadie
Associate Director - Legal
Susan gained her First-Class Honours law degree at a prestigious university in Australia before practising as a lawyer and litigator for 7 years, working for Australian magic circle firms. Susan’s Law & Sociology honours dissertation on the intersect between women and the law has fed a career-long focus on intuitive work practises.
With experience of working in all aspects of the legal sector, including: Top 10 firms, NGO’s, Chambers and in-house for an insurance corporation; specifically acting for lawyers in finance, medical, insurance and professional negligence cases, Susan has a unique take on multifaceted legal perspectives required across all legal spheres.
Interestingly, during a career break and family relocation to Malaysia, Susan successfully set up a creative design company across Asia, with a production line spanning wholesale and retail, with clients in Hong Kong and Singapore. After living in Kuala Lumpur, Susan relocated to the UK joining JMR Global in 2018 to head up our Legal Practice.
Susan not only brings insider knowledge and expertise from the legal sector, but vast business experience to her role at JMR Global. Her time in Australia, Asia and Europe uniquely equips her to offer search recruitment and strategic hires across in-house legal departments and Legal 500 firms in the UK and globally.
Building strong sustainable partnerships with both clients and candidates, Susan is known for her exceptional levels of service, grounded approach and understanding of client organisational challenges. Going the extra mile to offer career advice and insights to candidates through every step of the process, whilst working with clients to deliver exceptional legal specialists is what makes her tick.
Finding the ‘unicorn’ is Susan’s secret weapon – she will find the candidates other recruiters can’t. The combination of insights, industry knowledge and interpersonal skills enable an exceptional level of trust, allowing Susan to truly connect collaboratively with both candidates and clients.

Lauren Claydon
Associate Director - HR
Lauren is a well-versed HR professional. She started her career at working for a negotiation company where, over several years, she learnt the global role of HR. This excellent foundation led her to spending time in Hong Kong and New York working as a HR Business Partner.
More recently, Lauren headed up the HR function for a large global recruitment firm, opening offices in multiple states of the US as well as in Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Warsaw, and Australia.
After a short career break to have her daughter Emilia in 2020, Lauren joined JMR in April 2021 to put her skillset to good use.
Lauren is an asset to the JMR team, not only imparting her extensive knowledge of global HR practice to JMR’s clients but fulfilling her passion to match the right people with the right jobs.
With a thorough and friendly approach, Lauren’s natural communication skills and the ability to build and nurture relationships mean she is a hit with clients and candidates alike.

Dan King
VP Global Sales & BD
Over the last twenty years Dan has worked and lived in many countries. Starting his career in Southampton, he then moved down under to Australia, working for Hays in Sydney before continuing his travels around the globe. Upon landing back in the UK, he moved to London and worked for a small boutique search firm.
Dan’s experience is vast, having moved in-house with Alexander Mann Solutions in 2007. During his time there he headed up the technology division in Europe for American Express, then went on to relocate to Switzerland and New Jersey for Novartis. Dan decided to stay in the US in a Director of Talent role for AMS.
2012 saw Dan return to the UK to head up sales for Verizon in Europe, a year later taking on an enterprise sales role within the business until 2018. After a short role selling SAS software in 2019, Dan then moved into a family business within the wellness and eCommerce industry.
Fast forward to 2021 and Dan has returned to the world of recruitment with vigour and joined JMR to play a key role in spearheading global sales search.
Amongst all of this, Dan is an avid music fan and has mixed many genres since his teens. His passion has seen him DJ across the world, from the UK and Europe to the US, Australia, and Asia. Anyone wanting to hear Dan live can tune into Radio Bath on Friday nights, as well as a bi-weekly residency in Warwick and some upcoming festivals.
Relationship building and stakeholder engagement is one of Dan’s greatest attributes, as well as sales, business development, and executing best practice for a solid foundational process.

Tracey-Ann Ginger
Associate Director - Tech
Tracey-Ann, or TAG as she is known to friends and colleagues, has spent her career in tech recruitment. A true expert in sourcing, networking, and managing the careers of professionals who are at the top of their game along with providing suitable human capital solutions to tech companies.
With vast and successful experience working in the UK, Europe, the Nordics, Latin and North America, TAG is the go-to girl in tech and tech sales recruitment, search, and selection. TAG has helped many growing tech companies build their teams in new locations.
Partnering with leading technology, venture capital, defence, aerospace, public and private sector companies, and sourcing the right people for their projects is where TAG’s passion lies.
TAG is a genuine and active advocate for championing women in tech, her aim is to assist in making the next generation of women excited about the awesome possibilities in tech careers now and in the future. Championing women also extends beyond the tech arena as an active member of the Allbright Collective.

Aisha Castro
AVP - Philippines
Aisha started her Recruitment journey in 2010 in Convergys (now Concentrix) Philippines where she learned the ropes of end-to-end Recruitment. An awarded Recruiter and was chosen in 2013 to be part of the team which jumpstarted hiring for Concentrix’s newly launched site in Davao.
In 2014, she joined QBE Philippines Shared Service Center and played an essential part of its Cebu site’s 1st year growth having conducted Job Offers and Pre-Onboarding sessions to over 500 employees. Her employment in QBE highlights her Corporate/Executive Recruitment capability, sourcing and recruiting for non-entry, technical, niche, up to Senior Managerial roles. Her stakeholder and collaboration skills helped her move to the Benefits Supervisory position, managing a team of 4, and overseeing the execution of government and company specific benefits for the firms’ over 3,000 employees in both Manila and Cebu sites.
However, Aisha always knew her forte is in Recruitment. In 2017, she joined JPMorgan Chase and Co. – Philippines, here she recruited for the firms’ telephone bankers, helped with a number of Corporate/Executive requirements, and was part of a new Line of Business migration project.
After an almost 2-year break, focusing on being a first time mom, a homemaker, and her small retail business – Aisha is back on her Recruitment career track and joined JMR in August 2021.
Aisha brings in her eager approach and vibrant energy, plus her knowledge of the Philippine culture, client, and candidate landscape – making her a gem in the team.

Abbi Hardern
Global Account Manager
Abbi is a global account manager extraordinaire!
Fluent in French, Abbi started her career in a bilingual role at Kodak doing French Accounts Payable. Abbi then moved through the business working on SAP implementation projects, initially from the user side for Kodak’s finance team and then as a business analyst and subject matter expert for their IT department.
During a career break, Abbi identified a gap in the local market and set up and ran her own highly successful business in childcare whilst her own children were little, studying for and gaining a Masters in Education at the same time.
It was in 2015 that Abbi joined JMR Global, initially as a researcher. She flourished dealing with candidates and clients and now works as Global Account Manager for some of our larger accounts dealing with roles £75k base upwards across the US, UK, mainland Europe and Australia.
Her pace of work is hard to keep up with, as well as being detailed and efficient. As a LinkedIn certified professional recruiter, she is highly skilled in executive search and sourcing. Abbi is adept at helping both the candidate and the client to be proactive in their search and to position themselves more competitively within the global job market.
An incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and passionate member of the JMR team, Abbi will pull out all the stops to meet a deadline.

Jules Mittra
Executive Search Account Manager
Jules is a natural fit for the recruitment game. Passionate about people and finding the ‘win-win-win’ in every situation, his ability to tune in to others, understand their needs and motivations, and connect them with the right match on the other side of the fence makes him the perfect fit for the role.
He is also a man of many talents. A former teacher of History and Politics, who has helped set up and develop schools in Zambia, Jules is a guitarist, singer and former frontman of a funk band, a broadcaster and a writer. He also currently runs a high-end tour company in Bath, UK sharing ‘unseen, authentic’ England with visitors looking to encounter the ‘must-sees’ as well as the enchanting places off the tourist map.
At JMR Global, Jules loves the challenge of finding the right candidate for the right role, regardless of the industry or job specification. However, his main focus is finding amazing candidates in sales, account management and business development in the BPO sector. By employing his exceptional communication and relationship building skills, Jules ensures that the best outcomes are achieved by all parties.

Richard Dominic Regidor

Nicola McGing
Head of Marketing
After taking classes since her late teens, in 2012 Nicola also set up her own bespoke jewellery business part time, taking commissions for precious and semi-precious pieces. Although these days she only makes for pleasure, preferring an organic design process over prescriptive pieces.
Fast forward to summer 2020 and Nicola joined the team at JMR, working initially on the website, content and looking ahead to future strategy.

Courtney Harwood
Recruitment Consultant
Courtney fell into HR in the City and progressed quickly to a HR Advisor role, managing relationships at Director and VP level and supporting employees internationally and in the UK. Her next role was in field marketing as an HR generalist looking after 400 employees, servicing the entire employee lifecycle. Courtney joined the JMR team after a career break and is now supporting roles across the US, UK and mainland Europe.
