JMR Global Expands African Practice With Appointment of Michelle Roborg-Sondergaard as SVP - Africa

JMR Global is proud to announce Michelle Roborg-Sondergaard as SVP - Africa, marking a significant milestone in strengthening our footprint across the continent.

Michelle brings over 35 years of international leadership experience, having held senior roles with globally recognised organisations including LEGO Group, LEGO Education, EMI Music, Carlsberg, Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods, Mondelez International, and AstraZeneca. Her expertise spans large-scale transformation, talent strategy, organisational design, and all aspects of people and culture.

In 2025, Michelle returned to her South African roots to lead JMR’s African practice, bringing her extensive global insight back home. Her focus is on building strong, aligned leadership teams across HR, Operations, and corporate functions, supporting businesses through growth and change.

Known for her practical, people-first approach, Michelle brings clarity and structure to fast-moving organisations. She partners closely with clients to provide grounded, strategic advice that helps them navigate complexity while strengthening capability.
